IHG Hotels and Resorts (UK Head Office; IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Abhijay Sandilya) will launch its famous voco Hotels brand in Japan for the first time, following the signing of a management agreement with NTT Urban Development Corporation (which will be represented through its subsidiary UD Hospitality Management Corporation) which will allow it to open the flagship voco Central Osaka to 2023.

The voco brand has enjoyed phenomenal success since its global launch in 2018, and voco’s signature Osaka Central marks the 75e signing for IHG in just over three years, with 35 high-quality properties already open around the world. While IHG is experiencing an unprecedented period of growth in Japan which has recently seen it launch the Kimpton, Regent and Holiday Express brands into the market, it is now adding its lifestyle brand voco to its premium offering.
